Laura Linney
Laura Linney is an American actress whose name has gained acclaim for her portrayal of strong and yet fragile characters. Linney was raised in the theatre of her family, with her father Romulus Linney being a playwright. Her graduation in 1986 was from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City, 1990. Her first appearance was on Broadway before receiving acclaim for her roles in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
