Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and former model is now a retired actor. Elson's acting career started as a child actor and model. However, she is best known for her role as Alice Tyler in CBS science fiction. Andrea auditioned for and was awarded the part as Lynn Tanner of the ALF hit program (1986). She continued to work throughout her career on successful TV shows and Movies of the Week before taking a break from the entertainment industry to concentrate on her family. ALF came during a particularly difficult period in the life of Andrea Elson, who played Lynn Tanner, the teenage daughter of Kate and Willie. In the 2000 retrospective of People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of an audience that viewed sitcoms was difficult. Green-eyed Elson was born New York City on March 6th 1970. She grew to be an actress who traveled because her father had a job as an executive in advertising. For the 10 years prior to her birthday on the 10th of March she was a resident of New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea won her first audition in San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco explained that ALF was 285-years-old and was able to drink beer. As ALF gained more popularity with children NBC stated to Fusco it was not appropriate to have him drinking the kids who are watching because it's not a great role model. Fusco believes that ALF did not have the maturity required to not drink and drive was wrong. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma. The cancer was successfully cured and remained in remission up to the end of 2019. In June of 2019, at age 75, he died of his illness in the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood, New Jersey.
