KingBennett was signed by Durk's Label Only the Family after his collaborations with Durk. Bennett adopted the stage name King Von and had his debut track "Crazy story", dropped in December of 2018. The track reached 81 on the Hot 100 of Billboard, as well as 32 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Charts of Songs. It also garnered thousands of YouTube views. In May of 2019, Von came out with "Crazy Story 2.0" the follow-up track. The follow-up, which features Lil Durk is a remix of the first. The release date was September. Crazy Story 3.0 was made available as a sequel/remix.
